In this 2 1/2 hour workshop for expecting parents, you will learn practical tools to support you in navigating physically and emotionally through the process of labor and delivery.
We will practice positions and see how breath and posture can be used to encourage the progress of labor, ease pain, and take pressure off the pelvic floor.
We will experience the use of pressure and counter pressure techniques to find grounding and power within your own body and learn how to use breath as a tool for both body and mind, support to ease tension and fear. 
Birth partners (family, doula, friend) will learn to use hands-on techniques to offer support and comfort.
This workshop includes practice as well as discussion.
